SEM Products, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of innovative paint, adhesive and coating products. Our products are developed to meet and exceed the needs of today's automotive repair and refinishing industries.
In over half a century, SEM has pioneered quality automotive repair and refinishing products and delivers world-class customer service. These are just two of the fundamental principles that SEM was built upon in 1948.
Amidst continued growth, SEM moved from Belmont, CA to Charlotte, NC in 1992.
In 1999, SEM manufactured its first aerosol product in their newly built facility in Rockingham, NC. This 40,000 square foot facility put SEM on the map with their well known high speed production lines and incomparable filling records.
In 2009 SEM moved both the Charlotte and Rockingham facilities under one roof in Rock Hill, SC. Today we distribute our products to all 50 states and countries around the world.

- DUAL-MIX
Multi-purpose adhesives, fillers & sealers are the first choice for bodyshops nationwide. These products are essential in a growing number of automotive repair procedures, including the repair of plastic parts.
- COLOR COAT
An interior paint coating formulated to match, restore or change color on most vinyl surfaces, flexible and rigid plastics, carpet and velour. Fade resistant and flexible, COLOR COAT is not a dye, but a permanent paint coating.
- SURE-COAT
An interior paint coating used to change or enhance color of leather, vinyl or plastic while providing superior adhesion and flexibility. SURE-COAT is VOC compliant, quick drying and easy to use. Available in over 1600 formulas including many OEM colors.
- CLASSIC COAT
Advanced technology to provide superior adhesion and flexibility when changing or restoring the color of most leather and vinyl. CLASSIC COAT is a fade resistant coating that won’t chip or peel and is available in many of today’s popular OEM colors.
- BASE COLOR
Packaged in convenient, ready to reduce round quart cans. Create a lasting foundation with 14 intense BASE COLOR that can be intermixed to form a wide array of colors for your custom projects.
- HOT ROD COLOR
HOT ROD COLOR is a matte finish, 2K, single stage topcoat paint system that provides outstanding color retention, excellent sprayability and superior mar resistance. HOT ROD COLOR has superior chalk and fade resistance.
- RUST-SHIELD
Stops and prevents corrosion, is easy to use, provides a professional finish and is available in unlimited color combinations! Great for restoration projects, chassis work & industrial applications.
- RUST-MORT
Converts rust to a black or grayish, hard, insoluble, protective coating. Useful in autobody, marine, industrial, farm and home applications.
- TRIM BLACK
The industry standard for restoring faded and peeling exterior trim parts.
- PRO-TEX TRUCKBED LINER
For the ultimate protection PRO-TEX is a tough, durable, non-corrosive coating matching many OEM factory colors. No special equipment needed to achieve exceptional film build that will not fade.
- ROCK-IT LINER
A two component protective coating that provides a durable finish with superior protection and chemical resistance. ROCK-IT LINER works great on truck beds, restoration projects as well as for sound deadening. It can be used on wood, concrete, primed or painted metal, and prepped aluminum.
